What is DMS?

DMS (Property & Document Management) is temple property management software for temples, devasthanams (temple boards), maths (monastic institutions) and religious trusts. It records each property with its survey number, village, taluk and how it was acquired — including donated land and its mother deed. Deeds, RTC/Pahani, Khata and Encumbrance Certificates sit in a permission-gated document locker. DMS tracks property tax, leases and rent, and court cases, and sends staged reminders by email and WhatsApp before anything lapses.

Each property carries its survey number, village, taluk, district, state, PIN and optional GPS location, and its type — agricultural, non-agricultural, commercial or residential. Record whether it was a purchase, a registered donation or a non-registered donation, with the donor and the mother-deed chain.

What is temple property management software?

Temple property management software keeps a temple or trust’s land and buildings, their title papers, taxes, leases and court cases in one system. DMS records each property at survey-number level, stores its documents, tracks tax and rent, and sends reminders before a due date or expiry is missed.

Which land-record documents can DMS store?

DMS comes with 20 document types, including RTC/Pahani, Khata, Encumbrance Certificate, Sale Deed, Mutation Copy, Mother Deed, Survey Document, Lease Agreement, Tax Receipt, Trust/Math Document, and GPS and AutoCAD files. The list is an editable master, so you can add your own.

Can DMS track donated land and its mother deed?

Yes. Each property records whether it was purchased, received as a registered donation or a non-registered donation, with the donor’s details and the mother deed — the owner name, address and document reference. A donated-property report lists them all.

How do DMS reminders work?

DMS raises reminders for tax dues, lease ends, document and caretaker-ID expiries, court hearings, the yearly tax cycle and unpaid rent. Each is sent in stages — lead time, 7 days before, on the day and once when overdue — by email and WhatsApp through Vani, to up to five recipients per channel.

Does DMS send SMS or read documents with OCR?

No. DMS sends reminders by email and WhatsApp only, and it stores and previews documents without extracting text from them. It also does not collect rent online; it records rent received by cash, bank or UPI.

Can one account manage several trusts or maths?

Yes. Properties are linked to a trust or math entity, the dashboard and reports summarise by entity, and an organisation can have several offices under it.

Which languages does DMS support?

English, Hindi, Marathi and Kannada.
